Hall Tour

Take a virtual tour of Alumni Hall featuring former RA and Current Assistant Rector Michael Pilger!

Room Info

Dawgs live on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of Alumni. In the basement, we have a gym, a laundry room, vending machines, and an ice machine. The basement is also home to Alumni's student-run Dawg Pizza, which is open on weeknights for hungry Dawgs. The St. Charles Borromeo Chapel is found on the First Floor, down the hall from the South Quad entrance and the rector's apartment. If you enter from the Main Circle doors, you can find a study room to your right and a seating area to your left. Our main lounge, which we call the Dawg Park, is down the hallway on the first floor and is fully furnished, complete with a kitchen, pool table, foosball, TVs for watching ND away games, and NBA Jam. We also have an adjacent lounge that has a ping pong table and sofas. Just outside of that, is an open lounge area we call the Kennel right across from the Rector's apartment. Across from the lounges is the main study room that has monitors that you can plug your laptop into and a rolling whiteboard. Across from the main study room there is an all-purpose study room to work on group projects and that also doubles as a game room for late night Dawg Poker or "Secret Hitler" games. And, between the two study rooms there is a printer conveniently located for easy access. The Second and Third Floors are primarily dorm rooms, along with smaller study rooms and smaller lounges on each floor, complete with refrigerators, microwaves, and ovens for cooking and baking. You can follow the Main staircase up to the Fourth Floor to find another study room as well.

Alumni has three entrances: the doors at Main Circle, South Quad, and the Courtyard. Each of the residential floors consist of four hallways: Challey, Main, Talley, and Southwest Alley (SA). Every Dawg differs in his judgment of which entrance is the quickest way to get to their hallway. Generally, SA and 2-3 Talley residents enter through the Courtyard doors; Main and Challey residents come through the South Quad doors, and 1 Talley residents come through the Main Circle doors. It sounds like gibberish now, but you’ll quickly understand what these terms mean.

**Challey:** 203-219, 303-319

**Main:** 128-142, 224-242, 324-341

**Talley:** 146-163, 246-263, 346-363

**SA:** 166-170, 266-270, 366-370
